I used the Kerplunks! in standing water areas to cut down on larva and population and they work very well.
Predators seem to work well and cost about the same as sprays per month and are non toxic.

I have a question regarding whether the renegade boots come in draft sizes???
Livs right, my friend offered to build me a "better stronger faster one" for about 700-800 less then an off the rack one. For what it's worth....
I need one too. Macs are expensive and buggy. I wont do Dells for the same reason DC wont do HP. I have had great luck with HP. I am looking at HP and Sony.
Yeah...we had our turn, unfortunately it was not caught on camera. We will be taking our time before the next attempt...!

Something About Me:
About FDT

Bringing over 20 years of horse training expertise, Farah DeJohnette’s talent in competitive horse training blended with her
Natural Horsemanship and Holistic programs, make her a uniquely skilled Trainer.

Mission Statement

Before you read on I want you to put aside any notions about English or Western, Hunter, Jumper, or Dressage, Pleasure or
Showing. There is no difference in any one disciplines end goal; a calm, more athletic, supple, willing partner. The
equipment may be different and there are small technical and style points to consider, but any good trainer from any
discipline is trying to create the same horse. They may be using different terms but they are speaking the same language to
the trained ear. The exercises, Concepts and Tips you’ll find in this site should be considered extremely useful for both
English and Western Disciplines.

I’m sure that it‘s not the goal of most horse owners to have issues with their horse, but sadly, I see far too many owner’s
who are struggling with their equine friends. So I have decided, that with the help of this site, I will do my very best to help
horse owners everywhere improve there relationships with their horses.

My approach is a blend of Balanced seat riding, the German system, and Natural Horsemanship. Combining these three
methods, in my opinion, is blending the best of the best. There are clearly hundreds probably thousands of ways to train
horses. Some are good some are bad. Mine is just one way and it relies on the most important opinion of all, my horses’. He
has to work with me and his happiness is as important as my own. I can’t make him care about Jumping or Reining or Trail
riding. I can get him to choose to participate willingly and confidently with me in whatever tasks or goals I set. I believe
that's the partner we all want.

Farah has studied intensively the following Master horseman who have had a huge impact on her style, approach and
methods: Paul Belasik, Pat Parelli, Monty Roberts, Mary Wanless, Linda Tellington, Clinton Anderson, John Lyons, Dennis Reis,
Chris Irwin, Richard Schrake, Anne Kursinski, Bill Dorrance, Mark Rashid, Alois Podhajski plus the many clinics and lessons she
has attended.

Farah’s scope is broad and embraces many different methods. To sum it up simply, Farah’s approach is a blend of the German
system meets Natural Horsemanship meets Balanced seat riding.

From Farah:
“I would like to state that it is my personal pledge to myself and my current and future customers to continue to learn,
grow, and stay open to new information and techniques so that I can be the best that I can be.

I am not defined by one training method: I am a Trainer. There is only one kind of training and one kind of riding. It is
called Horsemanship. And that’s what I do. I study all disciplines and I learn and borrow from each to create a rich
knowledge base to draw from. This has allowed me the versatility to be able to work successfully with all types of breeds,
temperaments, disciplines, and levels.

In the end, the horses have been the greatest trainers I’ve ever had. Too numerous to count, each horse I've worked with
has provided me with their own unique lesson. In fact, most of the things I learned about life, I learned in the presence
of horses.”

What person, trainer, mentor inspires you the most?
Oh god! I could never name just one. There are so many and don't get me started on the horses. They are the original and continuous inspiration.
What do you dream of doing with horses that you have not been able to do?
I am working towards bringing more holistic care and NH methods to the show ring and hope to get to Grand Prix in Dressage and Jumping, If I had more hours in a day (and cows) Reining and Cutting too! I get up everyday and get to be around horses. That's pretty much the childhood dream.

Video: Me and Mercury Ride Bridless for the first time...

Me and Mercury try out Bridless riding for the first time ever. Mercury is a 5 year old Dutch Warmblood I have had since he was a yearling. Bridleless Jumping has been our goal and we are working towards this. To appreciate the magnitude of this trust, it must be known that this colt was one of the biggest buckers I have ever started and he is thin skinned, sensitive, and can be spooky and hot! He is also one of the smartest and hardest try-ers I've ever had.

Hi Farrah:
I just moved from Maui to Oahu last month. I just found Pam on your site and sent a friend request. I'd love to find my horse community over here.
Thanks for the information!

Hi Farrah,
Loved the Mark Rashid clinic. Tim was terrific with my daughter Emily. In fact, she wanted to stay there. I'll upload some photos when I have a few moments.

Cruiser is doing well. I know the trouble was my own. Funny thing that I am able to go off and work with other folks horses and yet with this guy.....love may cloud my vision at times. I think I worry to much about him and it just adds an energy that we don't need to share. Anyhow, I'd still love to get together some time. My daughter just put up a video of myself with Cruiser a couple wk-ends ago on youtube its under nesportpony. Typically I'm always the one taping.

Not able to make my way up to NH just yet. Had to stay home and treat the pony with the injured eye. Enjoying my time with the little guy, but I'd like to scoot up there on Saturday if all is well here at home. It seems such a convenient opportunity, I hate to miss it. Have you gone up?
